The Great Room

This magnificent room boasts original wood paneling, a hand painted ceiling, two sets of double French doors to the open veranda and a cozy fireplace. With enough space to accommodate up to 50 people sitting, and many more standing, the Great Room provides a unique setting for any function, formal business meeting, formal dinner or casual party. In the 1940s, the Women’s Soroptomist Group renovated the Great Room by adding a coved ceiling, and visiting soldiers used it as a dance hall. The coved ceiling has since been embellished with beams, tongue and groove cedar with corbels and a hand-painted ceiling.

The Byron Lounge

The Byron Lounge provides a warm and intimate environment before entering the Great Room and is perfect for smaller meetings or occasions. Lots of windows and a cozy fireplace make this a pleasant and comfortable place to meet.

The Dining Room

The Dining Room features the original and beautiful wood paneling. It provides a gracious atmosphere for all occasions from executive meetings to casual gatherings. A stainless steel bar cart is available for serving refreshments.

If you choose to have your special celebration at The Galbraith, step back into the charm of long-ago elegance. The sophisticated ambiance of this glorious historic building will make your day even more memorable.

Executive Office Suites

Located on the second floor of The Galbraith are elegantly furnished offices equipped with Internet access that is included in the monthly rental. Each office also features telephone outlets and its own private luxurious full bathroom finished in fine Italian marble.

• An office at The Galbraith provides a first class corporate image. Your business would be listed on the signage at the front of the building.

• Business tenants may arrange to use the Great Room for meetings, up to five hours per week or longer, if available, at no extra charge. A podium and microphone can be arranged.

• A commercial kitchen and coffee and tea are also available to business tenants during regular office hours.

• The Byron Lounge on the main floor may serve as a waiting room for your clients.

• Business tenants can use the parking spaces at the rear of The Galbraith.

• Office support service is available from local virtual assistance services.
